With the changing of seasons
Gone are the lazy meals of the summer.
Hot dogs, hamburgers go by the wayside.
It starts getting dark earlier and there is a chill in the air. Kids are back in school. The county fairs are over, the amusement parks close for the season.
Time to get those big soup pots or crockpots out and make homemade chicken soup or a big pot of chili with piece of corn bread. Makes my mouth water just thinking of it. Whatever you choose you need to have kitchen gadgets to complete the task.
Turkey, pumpkin pie and football.
Happy fall you all! Time for bonfires, hoodies. cuddling and football. I love spending time in the kitchen just baking and cooking wonderful recipes. You certainly need a lot of kitchen gadgets that have been hiding in your drawers all summer.
For some people they are just finishing up canning season. Thats a hard job but it makes you feel good when you step back and look at all those colorful jars. The “pop” of the canning lid is a happy sound. Freezers are full and closets spices are all stocked and ready.
What does Fall mean to you?
While parts of the world tend to think of spring as the season of renewal, fallis also a very good time for a fresh start. The vibrant orange colors and cooler weather of autumn appeal to your desire for change. Try to go to a bonfire or a hay ride this fall season.
Decorating your kitchen for the fall season
Use harvest classics, like pumpkins, leaves, mums, and more. Create a wreath using faux berries, branches, and blooms. As temperatures dip lower, it’s time to bring some warmth back into your home using fall decor.
I love browsing at the big box store at all the really cute fall items for the kitchen are. From the kitchen towels to the aprons and potholders, all are very cute and will spruce up your kitchen.
Don’t forget about hot chocolate and apple cider for your fall beverages!
To your success,
Kathie
